Investment in AI Infrastructure

As AI advances rapidly, investment in computing power and digital infrastructure is becoming increasingly critical. The session will examine global investment trends in data centres, cloud infrastructure and high-performance computing, as well as the challenges developing countries face in accessing infrastructure, finance and talent. It will also provide an opportunity to advance the objectives of the UNCTAD–ITU Digital Infrastructure Investment Catalyser initiative by connecting governments, investors and development partners to identify actionable projects and mobilize investment in AI infrastructure.
