At the High-Level Closing Roundtable of the World Investment Forum, Ambassadors and other high-level investment-development stakeholders will discuss the outcomes of the week-long Forum and their implications for national policymaking in their countries, for international cooperation and trade and investment policymaking, and for other intergovernmental processes and upcoming conferences.
The Roundtable will debate outcomes across all the major themes of the Forum, including investment in the energy transition, food security, and health, and across all key areas for action, from sustainable finance to investment promotion and facilitation on the ground. It will be preceded by a dedicated segment highlighting the outcomes of the COP28 preparatory events on climate finance and investment organized in conjunction with the World Investment Forum.
High-level representatives of UNCTAD, the host country, and partner organizations will briefly summarize the main outcomes of the Forum and open the floor for debate among participants.
The event will mark the official closing of the World Investment Forum.
