The Ambassadors’ Roundtable on Investing in Sustainable Development: The Way Forward will close the seventh World Investment Forum with a deliberation of the key take-aways from the Forum for the Geneva investment-development community and beyond. Specifically, permanent representatives will reflect on key outcomes of the Forum for the future work of UNCTAD and the broader Geneva international organization setting in re-igniting the investment engine of growth and its contribution to sustainable development.

The event will close with the Secretary-General’s closing remarks for the World Investment Forum 2021.

How to improve and further facilitate interactions between permanent representatives and the business community to promote Geneva as a global hub for promoting investment in sustainable development?
