Ms. Mariam AlHabshi

Mariam is a UAE National with close to a decade of blended experience in the fields of Accounting, Finance, and Banking. She is a skilled professional with broad Local and International Experience. 

Mariam worked with Dubai International Financial Center Authority (DIFC) in driving the Future of Finance and currently working with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) in strengthening the Public Sector and shaping the Financial Services Industry. Mariam heads the FinTech segment in the UAE, originating new business and working with leading International FinTech Companies and supporting them grow, innovate and sustain. She also heads the UAE Sovereign Banking portfolio, supporting the Government Financial Institutions in accessing the full suite of banking products. 

She is passionate about Sustainability and keen on driving the change in her capacity as a Board Member of the SDG Finance Advisory Board. Mariam is a life-long learner with Harvard, Cambridge and Oxford Institutes, holding certificates in Money Laundering Risk, Public Sector Risk and other Professional certificates on FinTechs including Economics of Blockchain and Digital Assets, Blockchain Strategy and Cyber Security. She is also a FinTech Hive Mentor at DIFC.
