BIOGRAPHY

Geraldine Ewing is the Head of fDi Markets, the greenfield foreign direct investment (FDI) tracking database from the fDi Intelligence division of the Financial Times. Geraldine leads the research teams in tracking greenfield FDI projects and investor intentions globally, as well as an extensive database of companies actively investing overseas.

She works with investment promotion agencies, journalists from all organisations and academic clients to deliver data to enhance inward investment strategies and uncover FDI trends and emerging industries.

Geraldine is a co-editor on the annual FDI trends white paper, the “fDi Report” as well as a key contributor to the fDi Strategies team helping IPAs develop international market and sector strategies and Marketing strategy and value proposition development.

She has 15-years’ experience in FDI and prior to joining fDi Intelligence, Geraldine studied at Queen’s University, Belfast and William J Clinton Leadership Institute where she earned a BSc Geography and accreditation in Strategic Change Leadership for Digital Transformation.
