Mr. Waseem Al Halabi

Mr. Waseem Al Halabi is a holder of bachelor’s degree in economics from Damascus University, a diploma certificate in Political and economic studies from George Town University.

He began his career in Saudi as a sales manager for Arabian Food Supplies- Mars Division then he moved to UAE and worked as the regional manager for Danone a leading dairy brand in GCC, currently producing more than 600,000 liters of milk per day. Later on, he took the position of the regional business director for Kimberly Clark a leading, Fortune 500 Consumer/personal care business, which currently employs more than 40,000 globally.

In his last role, he was the General manager of Foodco Holding a leading local conglomerate listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange. Operating for over 40 years, they specialize in food commodities. Currently, he is an advisor and consultant for various food and beverages companies in the region.

Mr. Al Halabi is a board member in Abu Dhabi Chamber of commerce and industry (ADCCI), a member of the government legislation review committee in ADCCI. He is also a member of the Superbrands council – UAE.
