Mr. Vinit Shah

A versatile senior management professional with over 20 years of experience providing a strong track record of transformational leadership, leading & implementing strategy in complex environments, driving commercial & operational focus and leading large cross functional teams. 

A global citizen, since 1995, he has lived and worked in global economic centres like Mumbai, New York, Vienna and Manila, before moving to Dubai in 2003 to be part of the growth story since the last two decades.  He has had the good fortune of being part of significant initiatives across industries including leisure and entertainment, hospitality, and real estate.  He has worked on multi-billion-dollar projects and has been involved in a successful listing, on the Dubai Financial Market. 

More recently, as part of Dubai’s vision of economic growth and diversification, he has been strategically involved and part of the core team to develop the Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority. The mandate included but not limited to, was to provide support across regulatory and policy developments along with the sector outreach and onboarding initiatives. 

He brings together strong strategic and commercial acumen coupled with a deep understanding of the regional markets, to ensure he can lead new sector development as one of his core competencies.
