Mr. Rick Liang

As President of EVYD Technology, Rick Liang oversees business functions including commercial and corporate development, and is responsible for driving company growth both organically and inorganically, drawing from his over 18 years of experience in general management, entrepreneurship, management consulting and venture investment. Prior to his current role, Rick was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development in Yidu Tech, responsible for investment and M&A. Rick also held key positions at Tencent as the Director of Investment and M&A, where he was responsible for driving investments in various sectors including healthcare, e-commerce, fintech and online travel. Rick’s international consulting experience includes serving as a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group (BGC), where he worked with clients in the healthcare, consumer goods, retail, and technology, media and telecom (TMT) sectors, and helping IBB Consulting LLC. (acquired by Accenture) open its China office and advising clients on strategy, technology and operational transformation initiatives in the US, Canada, China and MENA regions. Rick’s entrepreneurial journey began with co-founding EasySen, LLC, a high-tech startup that provided R&D platforms and application design services for companies and research institutions in the Internet of Things (IOT) sector. Rick holds a Masters of Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA, and a Bachelor of Telecom Engineering from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing, China.
