Mr. Marco Murcia

Electrical engineer with studies in Power Quality and Master in Renewable Energies and Energy Management. Since 2009, he has worked with the private, public and international cooperation sectors on aspects related to energy, environment, climate change and sustainability, covering topics such as greenhouse gas inventories, carbon markets, mitigation projects under the clean development mechanism and voluntary market, structuring of NAMAs, tax incentives for projects with environmental and energy benefits, cogeneration and biomass projects, and also design and implementation of energy management systems. He was a consultant for the Colombian Low Carbon Development Strategy, currently he is the liaison with the World Bank for the PMR (Partnership for Market Readiness) and PMI (Partnership for Market Implementation) programs.
