Mr. Laila Tashamneh

Eng. Laila Tashamneh has an extensive background in public-private partnerships (PPP) and investment coordination. Currently serving as the Acting Director of the PPP Unit within the Ministry of Investment, Tashamneh plays a pivotal role in shaping the PPP landscape in Jordan. In this capacity, she has taken on a range of responsibilities, which include project application management, project evaluation, consultant coordination, project progress review, monitoring of transaction structure reports, resource mobilization, capacity building, collaboration with fund agencies.

Prior to her role in the Ministry of Investment, Tashamneh held key positions within the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, included that of Director of Investment and International Cooperation Directorate, where she managed projects, such as the Amman Development Corridor, funded by prominent organizations like the World Bank, European Investment Bank, and the Arab Fund for Economic Development. Tashamneh was also Head of the Environmental Studies Section, where she participated in the development of Environmental Impact Assessment guidelines for road projects and green building codes.
