Mr. John Sheridan

John Sheridan is Head of the Balance of Payments Analysis and Dissemination division of the Central Statistics Office in Ireland. He is responsible for the Irish Balance of Payments and International Accounts statistics including FDI. He has nearly twenty years’ experience in the production and dissemination of macroeconomic statistics predominantly in the Balance of Payments area. His work includes investigating ways to make Balance of Payments and FDI releases more understandable and more useful to users. He is a member of the Benchmark Definition Technical Expert Group (BTEG) responsible for the update of the OECD Benchmark Definition of Foreign Direct Investment (BD4).
