Mr. Elnur Aliyev

Mr. Elnur Aliyev received a bachelor's and master's degree in finance from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. He got his MBA in finance from the University of Manchester, UK. Mr. Aliyev started his professional career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baku in 2000, where he worked in the field of multilateral economic cooperation. After that, he coordinated the economic portfolio at the Mission of Azerbaijan to the European Communities in Brussels. Since 2008, he worked as a regional manager for the CIS countries at the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation in the Islamic Development Bank Group in Jedda, KSA. In 2017-2020, he worked as a trade representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the Gulf countries based in Dubai. In 2020-2021, he was at the Nizami Ganjavi International Center as CEO. In 2021-2022, Elnur Aliyev served as the First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2023 has joined the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, Republic of Azerbaijan as the Advisor to the Chairman of the Board.
