Mr. Aref M.Y. Abdelrahman Al Farra
BIOGRAPHY
Aref is currently Chief Economic Advisor at ADCCI (since Nov. 2020) and Acting Head of ADCCI’s Business and Economic Intelligence Sector (since Aug. 2023)
Aref Al Farra is a Fulbright Scholar (M.Sc. in Economics and an MBA) and has more than 20 years of strategic professional experience in the US, Jordan and the UAE.
Through his more than 10 years of consulting experience with PwC, Chemonics International and Deloitte, he has mostly worked on public policy, strategy and economic research for various government entities in the GCC and Jordan.
Additionally, he has worked as Economic Advisor to H.E. Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade (2002-2003), Senior Economic Advisor to the UAE Ministry of Economy (2005-2008, during the tenure of H.H. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi) and Senior Economic Advisor at the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (2013-2015).
