Ali Al Hosani is a distinguished professional with over 16 years of experience in the field of Audit & Governance. His impressive educational background, unique and diversified experience in the Public and Private sector, professional skills has enabled him to provide assurance services, advisory support, and strategic insights to Regulators and Government entities. 

Ali's expertise encompasses internal audit, investment, corporate governance.

Ali Al Hosani served as the Director of Audit at the Social Support Authority from 2019 to 2022. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the audit function, ensuring financial integrity, and compliance with regulations. 

His contributions extended to providing advisory services and strategic guidance, playing a vital role in the achievement of the authorities objectives.

Prior to his role at the Social Support Authority, Ali held the position of Chief Auditor for Performance and Risk Assurance at Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) from 2012 to 2019. During this tenure, he led diverse teams across various industries, delivering a wide range of services, including audit, advisory and special audits. His expertise in Audit and governance played a crucial role in enhancing organizational performance and ensuring adherence to best practices.

Ali's journey into the field of audit began with his role as the Corporate Strategy Manager at Etihad Airways from 2008 to 2012. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in shaping the airline's strategic direction. His responsibilities included developing and executing entity-wide strategies, creating strategy maps, balanced scorecards, business plans, and investment studies. Additionally, he established the Project Management Office (PMO) function at the corporate level, streamlining project management practices across the organization.

Ali Al Hosani's qualifications demonstrate his commitment to continuous learning and professional development. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, showcasing his multidisciplinary background. To further enhance his skills and knowledge, Ali pursued an Executive MBA (EMBA) in Strategic Management from HCT. His dedication to professional excellence is exemplified by an impressive list of certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Project Manager, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified EFQM Internal Assessor, COSO Certified.

In addition to these certifications, Ali holds two diplomas in leadership and management from prestigious institutions, namely Cornell University in the United States and the ILM Institute in the United Kingdom.
