H.E. Mr. Ruisandro Cijntje

Hon. Ruisandro Cijntje MBA, native of Curaçao, has been the visionary Minister of Economic Development since September 22, 2021. With over 26 years in law enforcement, rising to a Senior Collaborator and Team Leader, he exemplifies dedicated service to community upliftment.

Beyond policing, Ruisandro is a fervent labor rights advocate, showcasing his commitment to justice. An accomplished athlete, he transitioned to youth sports leadership, imparting life skills in baseball and softball.

Entering politics in 2017, Ruisandro's commitment to learning led to his appointment as Minister of Economic Development in 2021. Armed with an MBA in General Management, he combines intellectual prowess with a dedication to community, family, and education. As a leader, he guides Curaçao towards a promising future, prioritizing prosperity and citizens' well-being.
