H.E. Dr. Fahad Aldossari

His Excellency Dr. Fahad Aldossari is currently the President of the General Authority for Statistics. He began his working life at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) as an economic researcher in 1999, and then became the head of the money and banking sector in the Research and Statistics Department in 2009. During the period from 2010 until 2013, Dr. Aldossari worked as Director General of the General Administration of Research and Statistics. Dr. Aldossari also held the position of Director General of the Financial Institute (formerly the Banking Institute) from 2013 until 2017, and the position of Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Administrative Affairs from 2016 to 2019. And the position of Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Research and International Affairs from 2019 until June 2022. HE Dr. Aldossari is also currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), and a member of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information, in addition to other memberships in several governmental and professional committees inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dr. Aldossari previously served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Financial Academy, a member of the Board of Directors of the Social Development Bank, a member of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Development Fund, a member of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Development Fund, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Public Pension Agency.
