H.E. Dr. Ahmed AlKhazraji

H.E. Dr. Ahmed Abdulhadi AlKhazraji serves as the Executive Director of Strategy and Policy at the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.  In this role he is responsible for leading all activities under strategic planning, performance management and institutional excellence, policy development, digital health and analytics, and transformation.

Previously, Dr. AlKhazraji was the Director of Health Affairs at the Abu Dhabi Executive Office (ADEO), responsible for driving Abu Dhabi’s health agenda through the initiatives, programs, and special projects of its foundational strategies and annual plans, across health-related government and private entities.  Prior to ADEO, he was the Institute Director of Medical Operations, and Clinical Director of Rehabilitation Services, both at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Dr. AlKhazraji has over 15 years of healthcare experience across public and private sectors.  He has served on company boards and led multiple steering committees that brought world-leading surgical and therapeutic care, for the first time, to the UAE.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), and an alumnus of the UAE Prime Minister’s Office Government Executive Leaders program.  He completed his doctorate, master’s, and bachelor’s degrees at the University of Southern California and Marquette University, in the United States.
