Dr. Shruti Sharma

Shruti Sharma is an Associate Professor of Economics at the City University of New York. In her research, she examines the impact of international trade, foreign direct investment and technology on firms and workers in developing countries, with a specific focus on India. Her research has been funded and supported by various organizations such as the International Growth Center (LSE) and the Professional Staff Congress-City University of New York; and has been published in several reputed peer-reviewed journals. She was previously at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and has worked as a consultant for UNCTAD. She also currently serves as an Advisor for ARTNET for FDI at UNESCAP.
