Dr. Ibtesam Al Bastaki

Dr. Ibtesam Al Bastaki, Director of investment and partnership at DHA, is responsible for the development of various public-private partnership projects and driving healthcare investment into projects in Dubai. . In addition to her main role and with 23 years of experience in healthcare she leads, advises and guides on the best practices to ensure a proper holistic expansion in health care industries within UAE.  

She has a wealth of experience and expertise having worked in both private and public sector entities such as the Prime Minister Office, VPS healthcare, MOH and DHA. 

Dr. Al Bastaki graduated as a medical physician from RCSI and gained her Arab Board in Family Medicine.  She then received a Master’s degree in Health Care Management from RCSI. Moreover, she is a MBR Leadership Program graduate. 

Her additional roles include being the scientific chair for International Family Medicine (IFM) since 2014.
